Voters Question Whether Russia Will Honor New START Treaty

I love America and her people, but this is the part I do not get!!!!!

Why are Americans AT TIMES so passive or maybe gullible should be more like it, the Russians cannot be trusted.

What is with you? My fellow Americans, wake up smell the stench from out enemies, weakness, passive-ism will not buy us peace.

It has never worked will never, look at history ( I know that is so dull and boring) you will wish you had some day. The Nazis where did that get us or Europe being passive?

I want peace just as much as the rest of you, but this current bunch of morons, idiots or should I call them for what they really are. Communist, Fascist, Socialist, Monarchist etc. that are in Congress and the White House are bent on destroying us and bring America down to the same level as the rest of the Nations of the world.

We are not through cleaning out the toxic member of Congress, the White House, the faceless bureaucrats ( Very Toxic) and the Judicial must be clean out.

Ok now for the article I had to rant. God Bless America.

The Senate late yesterday approved the so-called START Treaty that calls for a reduction in the nuclear weapons stockpiles of both Russia and the United States, but U.S. voters remain wary of the former Soviet Union’s willingness to comply.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only 27% of Likely U.S. Voters trust Russia to honor the nuclear weapons agreement. Half (49%) do not trust the Russians, and another 25% are not sure. That level of trust is consistent with results found in July and March.  (To see survey questions wording, click here.)

Still, 49% of voters wanted the Senate to confirm the nuclear weapons treaty. Thirty-seven percent (37%) think the treaty should have been rejected, while 15% are undecided. The Senate signed off on the treaty by a 71-26 vote.

(Want a free daily e-mail update? If it’s in the news, it’s in our polls). Rasmussen Reports updates are also available on Twitter or Facebook.

The survey of 1,000 Likely U.S. Voters was conducted on December 21-22, 2010 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.

Do more voters view Russia as an ally these days? Do unaffiliated voters think confirmation of the treaty is a good idea?  Become a Platinum Member and find out.
